Are you a Saint? Then it’s the parish church of St. John The Baptist for you- one of the grandest in the county of Essex, 183 feet long and 87 feet wide, and so beautiful that it may well claim to be the Cathedral of Essex.

Or are you a sinner? Then right opposite the church is the Swan pub where you’ll get a pint to help you cool down!

The Return of The Magnificent 7

75 runners took part in our Wednesday evening trail this week from the Black Bull in Fyfield. We were lucky with the weather and had a glorious sunny event. Gary Chandler was first man home with Sarah Colbert coming in as first lady. Resultts can be found at www.trailfreaks.co.uk. As we get more familiar with the running of this forum, we'll add the info ourselves. At the moment i'm fumbling thru it's creating whilst watching the Monaco Grand Prix!!!

ps by the way, i've written to the local footpath man about the lady at the end in the last field who insisted on making so many of you walk so that her cows didn't get upset. I'm not sure what the law says about running on footpaths and will let you know when I do.
